Mars Curiosity Landing Broadcast

In August 2012, I went to Times Square to capture the reactions of thousands as they watched the broadcast of Mars Curiosity landing on the surface of Mars. People were captivated by the images being displayed on the Toshiba screen and were listening closely to the audio broadcast on their phones, sharing headphones as necessary. It was incredible to see so many people captivated by science, and will always be one of my most memorable nights in the city.
